ABE Business Management

Course Overview
There are many opportunities for well qualified students in the business, financial and industrial sectors and increasingly the public services such as health education and local government. The college offers a number of courses that lead to internationally recognised professional and academic qualifications.

Certificate

There are four compulsory papers:

  1. Introduction to Business
  2. Introduction Quantitative Methods
  3. Introduction to Accounting
  4. Introduction to Business Communication

Diploma
There are two parts in Diploma

Part 1

  1. Accounting
  2. Organizational Behaviour
  3. Business Communication
  4. Economics

Part 2

  1. Marketing
  2. Human Resources Management
  3. Managerial Accounting
  4. Quantitative Methods
  5. Business Law and System Analysis

Advanced Diploma

The compulsory papers are:

  1. Corporate Strategy
  2. International Business
  3. Management Organisation

The two optional papers are:

  • Strategic Marketing, or
  • Corporate Finance, or
  • Strategic Human Resource Management,or
  • Managing the Information Resource

    Entry Requirement: Certificate
    Four GCSE/GCE Ordinary Level passes at grade C or above or equivalent overseas qualifications.

    Diploma
    ABE Certificate Business Management or four GCSE/GCE Ordinary Level plus two levels or equivalent overseas qualifications.

    Advanced Diploma
    ABE Diploma Business Management or other recognised qualification of an approved Overseas Institution of Higher Education.
